World Imports was founded in 1986 as a part time enterprise with a total of three employees: Stan Luber, Sandy Luber and a clerical position. Our product was sold in fewer than 100 stores in the Tri-State area. While we are still located in Philadelphia, PA., the company has grown tremendously since 1986. The team is currently made up of over 150 people that work together to ship about 25 delivery trucks and trailers throughout the east coast each day. Through our committed employees, continued new product introductions, and "razor sharp" pricing, we have become a leading furniture supplier in the U.S.

In 2005, World Imports developed a mission statement in order to give our company, employees and customers a clear understanding of where our company is headed.
