Health
Each year, Williams employees choose the medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage they prefer. We offer up to three types of managed-care medical plans in addition to a more traditional indemnity plan. Williams provides a basic amount of life insurance. You may purchase additional amounts to fit your personal needs.
And, in keeping with the Company's philosophy of investing in an employee's health and well-being, we'll reimburse regular, full-time, non-bargaining employees' membership, up to $100.00, at eligible health club organizations, weight control programs or smoking cessation programs.
Investing
When it comes to savings, Williams understands that there's no better time to begin than today. In addition to our pension plan, our non-bargaining employees can choose from 10 diverse investment options, and then the company matches their savings, dollar-for-dollar, up to 6% of their pay.
Time Off
Time off not only includes 12 holidays, but vacation time as well. The Company provides 11 scheduled holidays, plus one personal floating holiday (after 6 months of service).
Education
In the ever-evolving industry of communications, keeping our finger on the pulse of technology is a must. So, we encourage all of our employees to update their skills and technical knowledge through continual learning. For this reason, we created the Learning Institute. An in-house training facility, the Institute exposes employees to cutting-edge technology and teaches them skills that will directly enhance their performance at Williams.
In addition to the Learning Institute, we have an Education Assistance Plan. This program offers a benefit to financially assist employees who want to participate in job-related external educational opportunities. Reimbursement includes 100% of the cost of tuition and laboratory fees, and 50% of the cost of required textbooks.
Credit Unions
The Company offers two choices in Credit Union memberships: Williams Employees Credit Union or Transco Federal Credit Union. Both credit unions offer regular share savings accounts, loans, checking accounts, direct deposit, deposit insurance and access to your account information 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
