Wayne-Dalton Corporation is a leading manufacturer and international distributor of overhead and entry doors. The company, which is privately owned, was founded in 1954 by two Amish men in the small community of Mt. Hope, Ohio. What started out as a small company that manufactured wooden bi-fold doors has emerged as an industry leader focusing on high quality, safety, and innovation that have changed the industry.

Wayne-Dalton Corporation's headquarters are in Mt. Hope, Ohio, where it all began. This three-story facility, which towers above the beautiful rural area, was built in 1992. Just across the street stands our largest manufacturing plant which has expanded to one million square feet in size. This plant is one of ten throughout the United States and Europe that is owned by Wayne-Dalton. The Mt. Hope and Pensacola, Florida plants are the largest manufacturers of our residential and commercial product lines.

Wayne-Dalton high quality products and image are only as good as how they are presented in the marketplace. That is why we maintain a strong relationship with our 1,200 independent dealers throughout the world. Along with our independent dealers, we also have more than 40 Wayne-Dalton owned Regional Operation Centers that distribute our product. One of our fastest growing areas is our retail business. It is in this area that we have built relationships with home center stores such as Lowes and Carter Lumber, which have contributed to our success.
