As the manufacturing branch of the Toyota family, Toyota Motor Manufacturing exemplifies our commitment to continued growth in North America. Represented by some of our North American businesses which include: Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America is the headquarters for all manufacturing affiliates in North America, including Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky (TMMK), Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia (TMMWV), and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama (TMMAL), we all have one common goal which sets us apart from other employers. Based on the concept of continuous improvement, or kaizen, every Toyota team member is empowered with the ability to improve his or her work environment. This includes everything from quality and safety to the environment and productivity. Improvements and suggestions by team members are the cornerstone of Toyota’s success.

These manufacturing branches above all work together to produce the Toyota Camry, Avalon, Camry Solara, Corolla, Matrix, Sequoia, Sienna, Tacoma, and Tundra. Coming soon... Toyota will build North America's first Lexus, the RX 330, beginning this year in 2003.

Toyota Technical Center (TTC)

The Toyota Technical Center (TTC), founded in California in 1977, is a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan. TTC is a comprehensive Toyota research and development arm with operations in Michigan, California, and Arizona. Today, TTC is a dynamic company that conducts automotive R&D work in everything from the testing and evaluation of US parts and material to emissions certification and technical research. TTC is also playing an increasingly important role in the design engineering and development of Toyota products, particularly those developed for the North American market.
