Salem Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Oregon. Our expansive, multi-block campus is located in the heart of Salem and licensed for 454 acute care beds. At Salem Hospital, you'll be working with the best technology available. We have a new state-of-the-art birth center and our cardiac, cancer, rehab, imaging and psychiatry departments have each been designated as centers of excellence. The capital of Oregon, Salem is located just 47 miles south of Portland. Our city has recently been voted one of America's most livable cities, and is the home of three major universities including Willamette University, the oldest university west of the Mississippi. West Valley is a 44-bed critical access hospital working in partnership with Salem Hospital to provide outstanding comprehensive care. Only 20 minutes west of Salem, Dallas is the home of West Valley Hospital.
