It all began in 1972, when a few of us who were college students back then decided to open a restaurant instead of another book. Nearly 30 years later, most of us are still running the place, except now the place is a billion-dollar public company with more than 500 restaurants in nearly every state in America and in countries from Iceland to India. Our approach is simple - Great food, great service in sparkling clean restaurants. We provide guests with a fun, friendly atmosphere where they can relax and enjoy a great dining experience. Warm wood, polished brass, nostalgic artifacts and Tiffany lamps typify the concept. Restaurant locations range from shopping malls and free standing units in large metropolitan areas like New York, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta to smaller communities like Marianna, Florida and Dickson, Tennessee. The Ruby Tuesday menu covers a broad range of American favorites including ribs, burgers, chicken entrees, and our famous "serious salad bar". And don’t forget our fabulous Chocolate or Strawberry Tallcakes. Our foundation has never changed, even as our growth continues throughout the United States and around the world.
