Our major product categories include: office supplies, business furniture, technology peripherals, and custom imprinted merchandise. We mail more than 80 million advertising pieces each year, including a twice yearly 1,100 page catalog, and our state of the art web site offers customers access to more than 50,000 products.

Today, Quill employs more than 1,700 associates and has annual sales in excess of one billion dollars. We process more than 18,000 inbound calls each day from centers in the U.S. and Canada and make more than 45,000 daily shipments from a network of distribution centers nationwide.

We have a very large family. In May of 1998, Staples, Inc. – a publicly traded $14 billion retailer of office products, furniture and technology – acquired Quill. Although we share many of the same values and business practices, Quill operates as a separate, stand-alone subsidiary. In July 2002, Quill in turn purchased Medical Arts Press – a $168 million company specializing in office supplies for the medical and dental professions. Also included in this purchase were two subsidiaries of Medical Arts Press: SmileMakers, Inc. and Hayes Marketing, Inc.
