Advancing Healthcare, Improving Health Qualis Health is a private, nonprofit corporation whose mission is to generate, apply, and disseminate knowledge to improve the quality of healthcare delivery and health outcomes. We were founded in 1974 as a professional standards review organization for Medicare in Washington State, to provide quality of care oversight. Since then, our scope has broadened to offer quality improvement and advanced healthcare management services to a wide range of clients including consumers, employers, providers, managed care organizations, third party administrators, insurance carriers and government agencies. Qualis Health headquarters are in Seattle, with additional offices in Boise and Anchorage. Our utilization management, case management and external review programs have been accredited by the American Accreditation Healthcare Commission/URAC. This means our programs meet the highest quality and performance standards of our industry. Our collaborative relationships with providers, practitioners, managed care plans, employers, and community groups define the way we do business.
