United Stationers Inc. is a leading North American wholesale distributor of business products, with 2012 net sales of $5.1 billion. We have a solid record in key areas:

A broad product line: about 100,000 items from approximately 1,000 manufacturers. We provide technology products, traditional office products, office furniture, janitorial and breakroom supplies and industrial products. This includes a number of United private brands with a reputation for quality at a value price.

A wide range of customers: over 25,000 resellers, including office products dealers; contract stationers; office products superstores; computer products resellers; office furniture dealers; mass merchandisers; mail order companies; sanitary supply, paper and foodservice distributors; drug and grocery store chains; e-commerce merchants; oil field, welding supply and industrial/MRO distributors; and other independent distributors. These companies serve many geographic markets and types of customers.

An extensive distribution network: 72 distribution centers in strategic locations allows United Stationers to ship most products overnight to more than 90% of the population of the U.S. and major cities in Mexico.

Value-added training and marketing programs: a comprehensive offering helps our resellers more effectively reach end consumers. This includes a wide range of print and electronic sales materials; direct shipping and desktop delivery programs; end-consumer research, and developing what we believe is the best back-office, marketing and e-commerce solution for resellers in the industry.
