KSJ has also prepared Advance Planning Documentation (APD) to obtain Federal Financial Participation for State automated data processing programs under the U.S. Social Security Act to include cost/benefit analyses that fully comply with U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Administration guidelines.
KSJ is an experienced user of software cost estimating tools such as the Quantitative Software Management, Inc. product line (SLIM® or SLIM-ESTIMATE®, SLIM-CONTROL®, SLIM-METRICS®, SLIM-MASTER PLANTM). These tools are used in concert with function point analysis to develop software cost estimates, analyze cost sensitivity, and assess cost risk. Use of these tools provides a systematic, quantitative basis for performance measurement and management oversight of the software development process, which is typically a high risk component in IT acquisition projects.
