ABOUT US
The word “centric” in Latin means “the source from which ideas originate.” At Centric Group, we’ve built our success by cultivating good ideas. We specialize in finding niche markets, then leading in those markets by offering superior products and unmatched service.
Centric Group is comprised of several businesses that serve a variety of markets. In 1974, Enterprise Rent-A-Car ventured outside the automobile industry with the purchase of Jack Keefe Coffee Bar Sales. Keefe sold in-room pots and coffee to hotels, with annual sales of $250,000. By developing original products, finding new markets for existing products and acquiring additional businesses, Enterprise’s “non-automotive” division prospered and grew. In August 1999, Centric Group was established as a separate company.
Today we employ more than 2,500 people, have offices nationwide and our annual sales exceed $800 million. Our companies include Keefe Group, the nation’s leading supplier of food, personal care products, electronics and clothing to the correctional commissary market; TRG Group, a manufacturer of luggage, backpacks, travel gear and accessories; and Courtesy Products, a distributor of hotel guest room coffee and operating supplies
