Liberty Lutheran Services is a faith based, non-profit organization engaged in providing a vast array of services in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Its Affiliate Agencies have been in operation for a combined total of almost 200 years. The range of services provided include social services to children, youth, and families, operation of a retirement community, and the provision of independent living for the elderly as well as assisted living and skilled nursing and rehabilitative services for those who require assistance. The operations are designed to build and strengthen families and to create caring communities.
Services are provided through the operations of:
- The Artman Lutheran Home in Ambler Pa: provides assisted living and skilled nursing care to more than 180 residents;
- Pauls Run – Continuing Care Retirement Community in Northeast Philadelphia: with over 200 independent living apartments for senior citizens, a 120 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, and more than 60 assisted living apartments;
- Lutheran Children & Family Service: a full range social service agency providing foster care and group homes for youth, adoption and related services, in school after school programs for children, refugee resettlement services, the operation of two community centers for senior citizens, immigration support services, and a host of services designed to support individuals and families. LCFS also administers the Lutheran Disaster Response system;
- Lutheran Community Services: provides services for those requiring full or part time home based assistance through its Liberty @ Home program.
