What do we do?

As a partner to Health Care Maintenance Organizations (HMO’s) such as PacifiCare, GreatWest, Aetna, SCAN, and Cigna, Prospect Medical is delegated the responsibility of duties such as physician contracting, utilization review, credentialing, claims payment, member services, provider relations, marketing, and health education. This structure is designed to ensure that members enrolled in affiliated HMO’s receive the service and care outlined in their statement of coverage. Prospect Medical seeks to distinguish itself from other similar organizations by recognizing physician need I.T. centric systems and support to allow for greater focus on the delivery of care being provided than the administration of the process. The focus on distinction continues with our members/patients, by understanding they are not just patients, but customers first. It is our mission to change healthcare as we know it, one patient at a time.
