Employees choose coverage which includes HMO (in some locations) and indemnity medical plans, dental and vision plans, employee life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance for employee and spouse. Peterbilt also offers both health care and dependent care pre-tax reimbursement accounts.

Retirement
Peterbilt offers a 401(k) savings plan which allows participation after 30 days of employment and provides a 100% match on the first 5% of matchable pay made to the plan after 1 year of service. A company-paid retirement pension plan is also provided.

Vacation Time
Vacation time begins accruing on the first day of employment and can be utilized as soon as it is earned.
