We began in 1976 with just one brand, Perrier, and ignited consumer interest in natural refreshment. So, too, began the excitement of hand-picking America's finest bottled waters to add to the company - leading, regional brands like Poland Spring in the Northeast, Ozarka in Texas, Zephyrhills in Florida and Arrowhead out West.

Today we have grown into North America's undisputed leader in this beverage catagory.

Few companies ever experience the tremendous growth The Perrier Group has enjoyed over the past 20 years. We're nearly three times larger than our closest competitor. From sales of $5 million in our first year, we expanded to over $1 billion in 1997. Water

As a part of Nestlé, the largest food company in the world, The Perrier Group has the solid backing to remain a respected leader in the beverage industry.

But success hasn't spoiled us or watered down our principles. We pride ourselves in putting efforts back into the community. We have, for example, a history of bringing relief whenever disaster strikes - in the form of tanker trucks filled with spring water. "Folks here say it's a godsend," one of our transport drivers told a TV crew covering a Los Angeles earthquake. A reminder to us that water isn't only refreshment, but sustenance.
