Who are we? At Oklahoma City University, every person has a voice that is valued. Our employees have a sincere desire to work for the benefit of the entire campus community. Evidence of their passion is apparent in their day-to-day activities. We foster attitudes of warmth, cooperation, respect and appreciation. Our unique personal approach to higher education and our affiliation with the United Methodist Church provides a stimulating, diverse and encouraging environment in which to cultivate tomorrow’s finest servant-leaders. Under the leadership of President Tom J. McDaniel, our collective creativity and progressive approach has allowed us to realize our dreams. Since our centennial in 2004, Oklahoma City University has seen several capital improvements which include the construction and dedication of the new Meinders School of Business, the Wanda L. Bass School of Music, the Ann Lacy Visitor and Admissions Center, and the Norick Art Center. These capital improvements were part of a successful $100 million centennial development campaign which doubled the university’s endowment and allowed the creation of new academic programs in nursing, dance, and film as well as new athletic programs in rowing, wrestling, and volleyball. These are exciting times on the campus of Oklahoma City University. Come see what dreaming and reaching for the stars is all about! What is it like to work and learn at OCU? How would you like to walk from your car to your office surrounded by well manicured lawns, flower gardens and trees that are centuries old? How would it feel to know that you have made a difference in the life of a student by helping them achieve their goals and dreams? What would it mean to you to pass the president of OCU in the hallway and have him greet you by name? What would it be like to work with other people who appreciate and value diverse points of view and new ideas? These things are happening every day at Oklahoma City University. Our beautiful campus is the work home of 550 people who are dedicated to the success of our students and our university. At OCU, you really are a name and not a number.
