In 1934, Orange County Teachers Federal Credit Union (OCTFCU) was formed. From that day forward, OCTFCU has served generations of Members, providing them a full range of financial services. Their philosophy was a simple one - "Not for profit, not for charity, but for service".

Today, we have grown into the eighth largest credit union in the United States and the largest educational credit union overall. With service always at the heart of OCTFCU's goal to make Members' lives better, we have become a dynamic presence in the Greater-Orange County financial community with over $2.5 billion in assets. Although we now serve more than 240,000 Members, OCTFCU's philosophy still remains the same.

OCTFCU's Membership is serviced by more than 600 teammembers assisting them in 11 branches located throughout Orange County, including service centers on the campuses of California State University Fullerton and University of California Irvine. In addition, we have career opportunities at our operations center in Tustin that houses Information Systems (Computer Operations, Programming, Systems & Technology), Accounting, Finance, Account Services, Consumer & Real Estate Loans, Credit & Debit Card Services, Call Center, and Audit & Security.

OCTFCU successfully combines service with technology. Through OCTFCU's Express Services, Members can access their accounts and perform a variety of transactions at over 100 Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) located throughout the Greater-Orange County area, through TellerPhone, its 24-hour automated telephone transaction service, and CU@Home, its online banking system, located on its web site. The credit union puts new technology to work for its Members, while continuing the tradition of personalized service that has become the hallmark of OCTFCU.
