Testimonials: Dr. Alexandra Bannach, the newest pediatrician to join the medical staff at Newport Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine with hospital privileges at North Country Hospital, loves the contrast that Newport and Orleans County have to offer from her previous location in Long Island, NY. "It's much more important that I can walk out the door and go hiking and biking than shopping." When she began her search for a new location, Dr. Bannach wanted to find a place where her son could grow up in safety, and where he and his parents could enjoy the outdoors. Now she has it. Lesley Rae Larsen, with a Master's degree in Nursing and a certificate in midwifery from Yale University is North Country Hospital and Health System's new midwife. "I really wanted to be somewhere where I could really know my patients," she said enthusiastically. "This is the perfect place for me. The doctors and staff have been great. They have been so nice." |
