Mars Snackfood US
There are currently eight manufacturing sites in the U.S.: Albany, GA; Burr Ridge, IL; Chicago, IL; Cleveland, TN; Elizabethtown, PA; Hackettstown, NJ; and Waco, TX. Albany, GA produces COMBOS® Snacks,KUDOS®, CocoaVia® and SNICKERS® MARATHON. Burr Ridge, IL produces all of the frozen confectionery products. Chicago, IL produces MILKY WAY®, 3 MUSKETEERS®, SNICKERS® in the Fun Size and Minis format and Dove Promises and MUNCH Bar.Cleveland, TN produces all varieties of M&M’S® Chocolate Candies, and TWIX® Cookie Bars. Elizabethtown, PA produces MILKY WAY® Bar, MILKY WAY MIDNIGHT® Bar, 3 MUSKETEERS® Bar and DOVE® Chocolate. Hackettstown, NJ functions as both a manufacturing facility and the National Office for Mars North America.Four M&M’S® varieties are produced in Hackettstown: M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies, M&M’S® Peanut Chocolate Candies, M&M’S® MINIS® Milk Chocolate Candies and MY M&M’S Custom Candies. Waco, TX produces the Mars Snackfood US non-chocolate products: SKITTLES® Bite Size Candy and STARBURST® Fruit Chews. In addition the site also produces SNICKERS Bar, the country’s number one favorite chocolate bar.
Mars Food US
For over 30 years, UNCLE BEN’S® ORIGINAL CONVERTED® Brand Rice has maintained the largest market share among branded rice in the United States. It has become one of the leading brands of rice in the world. Greenville, MS is home to some of the newest additions to the Mars Food US portfolio, UNCLE BEN’S® FLAVORFUL™ Rice, UNCLE BEN’S® READY RICE®, as well as the recent expansion to produce bulk product for food service customers. Vernon, CA is the National Office to UNCLE BEN'S® Brand Rice, and SEEDS OF CHANGE®, an organic food and seed company.
Mars Health & Nutrition US
In 2005, Mars officially created its Mars Health & Nutrition business unit, located in
Hackettstown, New Jersey, to establish an all new portfolio of health-focused brands to serve emerging needs among consumers. Some of the most recent products developed through years of collaborative research efforts include CocoaVia® Heart Healthy Snacks, Generation Max™ Snacks.
Mars Petcare US
Mars Petcare U.S. is one of the fastest growing pet food manufacturers in the United States. It manufactures quality store brand petcare products and branded products for dogs and cats marketed under the PEDIGREE®, CESAR®, and THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® food for dogs, and WHISKAS®, SHEBA®, TEMPTATIONS®, and THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® food for cats.
With the acquisition in 2006 of Doane Pet Care, a leading manufacturer of dry pet food, Mars Petcare US has moved its U.S. Pet Headquarters to Brentwood, TN. and has 28 manufacturing facilities throughout the U.S.
GREENIES®
Mars, Incorporated acquired GREENIES® in April 2006 to expand its product portfolio of pet care brands. With this market foothold and loyal following, GREENIES® is a strong addition to the Mars family of pet care brands. The strategic acquisition expands and diversifies the North America’s pet care portfolio while catapulting its competitive advantage in the market place. GREENIES® is the number one pet treat in the U.S.Mars acquired Nutro Products, Inc. in May 2007, which will build its strength in the pet specialty channel.
Mars Retail Group
The Mars Retail Group is a retail gourmet chocolate leader providing consumers with a unique chocolate and brand experience. Mars was the first company to combine a chocolate shop with a lounge concept in 2005. Growing the ethel’s® chocolate lounge brand was a strategically important initiative in 2006 and will continue to be the focus in 2007. In addition, the Mars Retail Group brings another unique experience to consumers by providing three locations of M&M’S World, a branded retail store. The Las Vegas store opened in 1997; the Orlando store opened in 2005 and in late 2006 the newest store opened in New York City’s Times Square. In 2006, 8 million people visited M&M’S World in Las Vegas where the bestselling items are the many varieties of M&M’S dispensers.
Mars Canada
Mars Canada is the Canadian division of Mars, Incorporated. Mars Canada employs 750 associates and operates two plants in Bolton and one plant in Newmarket, Ontario where such brands such MARS® Bar, MILKY WAY®, 3 MUSKETEERS®, UNCLE BEN'S® WHISKAS®, PEDIGREE® and CESAR® are manufactured.

The North American headquarters of Mars Drinks is located in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Mars Information Services
Mars Information Services our internal Global Information Technology division has its North American hub site in Mt. Olive, New Jersey. Mt. Olive is about 45 miles West of New York City.
