Mercy Health System is made up of caring people who touch lives throughout Southeast Pennsylvania. As a member of Catholic Health East, the mission of Mercy Health System is to provide quality, compassionate healthcare to the communities we serve; with a special concern for those who are poor and disadvantaged. We maintain the highest levels of quality in national clinical measures particularly patient safety, which is of paramount concern to us. In addition to quality service, our patients experience a loving, compassionate care that only Mercy can provide. Our system includes four acute-care hospitals, a continuing care center, several ambulatory care centers, physician practices, skilled nursing facilities, an independent living facility, a home healthcare company, and managed care plans.

OUR HOSPITALS AND SERVICES

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospitalis a 368-bed, teaching hospital that has served Delaware County and Southwest Philadelphia, for more than 75 years. In partnership with the community, Mercy Fitzgerald offers program and services to impact health and well-being. The Mercy Heart Center offers comprehensive cardiovascular care, including diagnostics, fully-digital catheterization, surgery and rehabilitation. Occupational and physical rehabilitation is offered on-site and at convenient community locations. Programs rounding out Mercy's commitment to community health include state-of-the-art diagnostic radiology and cancer treatment program affiliated with the Jefferson Cancer Network.

Mercy Hospital of Philadelphia is a 214-bed facility serving West and Southwest Philadelphia. Our doctors specialize in family medicine with specialists who offer clinical expertise in diabetes education, emergency services, orthopedics, rehabilitation services, surgical services, women's care and treat critically ill patients in its nationally recognized Critical Care Unit. The hospital is investing in the future with recent technological advances in radiology; a state of the art Vascular Center featuring leading Interventional Radiology capabilities; and cutting edge cancer therapy technology.

Mercy Suburban Hospital is a 129-bed, teaching hospital in East Norriton. At Mercy Suburban, our physicians dedicate themselves to compassionate care and address the body, mind, and spirit. The hospital provides comprehensive care for patients and their family and is easily accessible on Route 202/DeKalb Pike. The hospital is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Currently, the hospital is undergoing a $19.4 million facility renovation and expansion.

Nazareth Hospital has provided health care to the Northeast Philadelphia community since 1940. The Hospital has 233 beds, including both acute and skilled care beds. Nazareth provides a full array of health care services, including: emergency services, surgery, vascular services, cardiac care, orthopedic and rehabilitation services, cancer care, women's health, and home health services. Nazareth has been ranked, by HealthGrades, among the top Hospitals in Pennsylvania for stroke treatment.

St. Agnes Continuing Care Center offers three primary services. The 58-bed Long-Term Acute Care Hospital provides care to critically ill or medically complex patients. The 38-bed Comcast-Spectacor Skilled Nursing Facility offers quality sub-acute rehabilitative and skilled nursing care. The LIFE (Living Independently For Elders) Program provides comprehensive medical and social services to enable frail older adults to remain at home. St. Agnes is located minutes from I-95 and I-76 in South Philadelphia and is accessible by public transportation.

Mercy Home Health has been an integral part of the community for more than 90 years and is committed to bringing home health care and supportive services to people of all ages.
