Marvell's founding team combines highly talented Engineering, Marketing and Sales members from the high speed mixed-signal IC community with an expert management team to specifically meet these demands. The team has an impressive track record of delivering mixed-signal IC products that operate a very high speeds in the 100 MHz to 1GHz range.

Marvell has already successfully introduced two product lines, the disk drive Partial Response Maximum Likelihood (PRML) Read Channel and the Preamplifiers. Marvell has recognized the importance of these products to the early success of the company and, hence, has focused on these product lines. There is a read channel IC and a Pre-amplifier IC in every hard drive that is shipped today. IDC Storage Research projects hard drive volumes will exceed 100 million units in 1996, and continue to grow at an average of over 20% per year through 1999.
