More than 2,000 people now work in Costco's beautiful Home Offices in Issaquah, Washington. Nestled in the forested hills of this upscale Seattle suburb, the Home Offices are built around a man-made lake and conveniently situated near shopping and residential areas. Employees enjoy a casual work environment based on teamwork and ingenuity, coupled with challenging goals and pride of accomplishment.

The Home Office culture is enhanced with an on-site restaurant that cooks up Costco-sized breakfasts and lunches at low Costco prices. Cash machine, gym facility, and exercise classes are also available, and the company's flagship warehouse is just across the street.

The Seattle area not only provides a wealth of cultural activities, such as a world-class ballet company and symphony orchestra, as well as several live theaters - it is also abundant in sports and recreational opportunities. Nearby mountains offer both summer and winter sports facilities. Island-studded Puget Sound and numerous lakes and rivers are perfect for fishing, boating, and water sports. Costco's regional offices provide support for our warehouses, particularly in the areas of administration, operations, marketing, and merchandising. Each regional office has teams who buy and replenish most of the foods sold in their geographical area's buildings, as well as replenish the majority of non-foods items. Some of our offices outside the United States also provide the full level of support listed above in our Home Office section.

All of our regional offices offer the same level of professional expertise, casual environment, and team-oriented culture as our pace-setting Home Offices. Most of them are located near or inside a Costco warehouse for additional convenience.
