Established in 1962, Circuit City Foundation continues a long tradition of supporting the good work of the charitable community.

In 2000, Circuit City Foundation entered into a partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America by sponsoring ImageMakers, a national youth photography program. Through an annual donation of $1 million, funding for photography curriculum, resource guides, volunteer programs, local, regional and national judging and scholarship, the program supports kids in over 3,100 Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. This collaboration provides an opportunity for Boys & Girls Clubs and Circuit City Stores nationwide to form a unique partnership that will benefit youth at risk while giving associates the opportunity to participate in the charitable work the company supports.

Through our Heart of the City program, we aim to focus the power of 43,000 hearts and pairs of hands to support our associates, to take care of the communities that take care of us, and to respond to emergencies. This is achieved through support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, United Way, Habitat for Humanity and the Associate Relief Fund, a program designed to help our fellow team members in times of critical need.
