Bothin Burn Center
Our world renown Burn Center was one of the first units in the country to receive the prestigious certification of verification by the American Burn Association. We are also the only unit in San Francisco verified by the College of Trauma Surgeons. Founded in 1967, the Bothin Burn Center is a 10-bed ICU, bringing together the expertise of leading surgeons, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, pain control specialists, home care aid and other specialists. As the largest tertiary acute burn facility in the Bay Area, we offer the latest treatment modalities available, including autograft.
Emergency Department
Our ER has the fewest number of beds - and yet, it is the second busiest in San Francisco. And, it's just another example of our excellence at work for the local community.
Cancer Care Program
Since 1959, over 20,000 patients have visited our Cancer Care facility. Within this 37-bed unit, our team of specialized nurses, therapists, dietitians and other professionals work closely with attending physicians and oncologists to address the special needs of patient and family.
