- Established in 1961, GreenPath Debt Solutions (formerly known as Credit Counseling Centers, Inc.) is a nonprofit organization that provides credit and budget counseling, housing counseling, financial/credit education and low-cost debt management programs to people experiencing financial difficulties.
- Our Credit Counselors all hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and have passed the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) certification exam. They provide confidential assistance over the phone or in person at 40 GreenPath Debt Solutions locations in Michigan, New York, Illinois, New Jersey, Arizona and Wisconsin.
- GreenPath is a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services. (COA)

- GreenPath’s education department is a community service that is available as a resource with information and tools on money management. Workshops include The How To’s of Budgeting, Dealing with a Financial Crisis, Children’s Money Management, Preparing for Home Ownership, Mortgage Delinquency Help, Using Credit Wisely and Credit Card Fraud, Filing for Bankruptcy and Dealing with Your Collectors.
