Overview
In 1847, The Canada Life Assurance Company was founded. Canada Life is now one of the eight oldest insurers serving the public of North America. The United States division was created in 1971 to more effectively serve the needs of its U.S. Policyholders and to respond more quickly to the changing market condition in the increasingly sophisticated and professional climate in the United States. Over time, the Division has grown and absorbed functions from the home office in Toronto. Today the U.S. Division is an autonomous business unit offering individual life products, fixed and variable annuities, pension plans, and a variety of group insurance products. The U.S. Division opened its Home Office in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1980. Today, all administrative and marketing functions for the United States are centered in Atlanta. OUR VISION: Canada Life - a world-class financial services provider, delivering exceptional customer value and winning markets through the excellence and integrity of our people.
