Our mission
We are committed to being the leading provider of materials that inform and educate people of all ages worldwide. We do this with the firm belief that by educating people today we can make a difference in the world of tomorrow.

Founded in 1954
Altschul Group Corporation (AGC) has grown steadily to become a leading supplier of educational media. In 1998, AGC joined forces with United Learning creating an even larger presence in all areas of the educational community. This partnership also enabled us to expand our reach to more schools and organizations across the country, with over 4,000 titles on a wide range of topics.

From decades of experience, beginning with the production and distribution of 35mm slides, 16mm films, and filmstrips, we have learned the necessity of adapting to change. This not only includes changes in the marketplace, but also changes in educational trends and technology.

AGC/United Learning as an industry leader
We continue to explore new and different ways to deliver educational content to our customers. From mixed-media curriculum kits that help children make healthy choices, to videos that help young mothers in WIC agencies, to DVD and video streaming for the K-12 curriculum, we are quickly becoming the provider of choice due to our innovation, excellent products, and superior customer support. What remains constant is that really good products should help the teacher teach, and the learner learn.

Customers First
Though selling styles change, we believe in the importance of visiting our customers in person. In this way we gain a better understanding of their needs, the challenges they face, and how we can help. Thirty sales representatives travel at least ten weeks a year to maintain existing relationships and create new ones. We depend upon relationships for repeat business not just from our customers, but also from our producers, whom we return to again and again for products. These unique, lasting partnerships help make us successful.

Going Above and Beyond
We understand the importance of going beyond the sale. We provide training on the use of our prevention products, host conferences for leaders in our field, and perform hundreds of other "extras" long after our products are in the customer's hands. From the time the order is placed, to long after it has been shipped from our warehouse, we go the extra mile for our customers. It is yet another way that we've become successful.
